VERIFICATION OF RESULTS IN CONTINUUM MECHNICS USING THE CAE SYSTEMS AS CONTRIBUTION TO ENGINEERING

The paper dealt with method of academical teaching as contribution of engineering by critical evaluation and verification of computed results in continuum mechanics using the CAE systems. The method is applied to analysis of thin-walled pipe loaded by outer and/or inner pressure p with aim to include topics of cancelled subject Elasticity and strength II. into education.
