AB  - The project on the possibilities of application of blended learning in teaching technical subjects at Technical Faculty of the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra is presented in the paper. Its goal is to modernize and provide teaching selected technical subjects by a new form of education which includes the teaching of chosen parts of the courses within the contact lessons and the other parts electronically. It concerns both lectures offered to students and tasks elaborated by students. Combined method of education is not only more accessible for students as they study at any time and at any place with the access to the Internet but also more attractive and more effective one.
