AB Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is one of the most important areas orientated on the permanent development of working conditions and working environment. It is aimed to decrease an accident and injury rate, risk assessment and precaution using progressive arrangements from practice, education and support of consciousness that leads to the complex improvement of the welfare, increasing of "culture of work" and school preparation. Building of an effective system of education and upbringing towards the OHS lies in the legal responsibility and keeping of principles connected to the OHS, rigorous implementation of regulations into the everyday practice, support of science and research in the area of health protection and; nonetheless, building of the effective system of the OHS education. Presented contribution deals with the importance of OHS of future chemistry teachers. ER
