AB  - In the year 2009, the Fire Protection Department of Faculty of Wood and Sciences of Technical University celebrated its 10th establishment anniversary. Today the Fire Protection Department offers accredited university study programmes in the study branch 8.3.1. Person and Property Protection, at all three levels of university degrees in the full-time and distance form. At the bachelor level in the Person and Property Protection Against Fire programme, students are offered to gain knowledge and practical experience based on scientific grounds particularly in the field of Fire Protection. The next level of education available for students has two branches, both of them resulting in a Masters degree, namely "Technical safety of person and property" and "Fire and Rescue Services". And in both of the above mentioned Master programmes is the "Dangerous Substances" course included as a core course. This paper offers a presentation of a practical IKT program application in the educational process during the practical classes of the mentioned course.
