AB Establishment and operation of the information society is based on the real possibility of every person to receive, use and disseminate information and knowledge. In this context it is impossible to ignore the opportunities that are providing by information technology for increasing of the quality of mathematical education. Creating of electronic learning products with interactive and multimedia elements is a part of the educational and scientific-research work of university teachers. With the implementation of information technology into education there are changes in the requirements for the professional competence of teachers and students in computer science. In the paper we deal with the possibility of applying information technology tools and present the actual experience of their use in teaching mathematics at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
