AB The author of the article gives a description and reasons of the current trends in creating study materials, especially multimedia textbooks. In particular, he focuses on the new forms of device for tutorial presentation in the form of 3D components. At the same time, the author outlines new opportunities in the area of motivation in education or a better transfer and understanding the study for the pupils. The final part of the article is dedicated to some of the specific applications and their use in teaching.
