AB  - The article contains an analysis of the competences determined based on effects of the course and curriculum standards for safety engineering faculty. Based on the competences and standards program of the "technical security systems" subject - it's teaching method, content and implemented teaching equipment was presented. Didactic sets of laboratory classes were evaluated for their suitability by teaching experts.
