AB  - The paper deals with the electronic tests in mathematics at Mendel University in basic courses. The reasons for electronic testing are presented. Types of tests and their implementation in the university information system as well as their use are described. Further, the advantages and disadvantages of such tests are summarized and a number of recommendations for their long term use are given. Also the results of the electronic and written form of exams in mathematics are compared. Finally, the student evaluation of electronic testing of mathematical knowledge and the opinions of the teachers are cited.
