AB  - As part of the curriculum reform currently underway in the Czech Republic, it is planned to create a separate educational area "Man and Technology" with the subject Engineering. This course is to ensure the education of pupils and students in technical terms, which also includes work with CNC machines. The word "programming" is often associated with CNC machines, but this is not the typical computer programming taught at secondary schools and universities. The following article is devoted to the theoretical analysis and comparison of these two types of programming, which shows whether the programming of CNC machines can be considered as programming or not.
