AB Industry 4.0 is a topic that is receiving more and more attention in companies, which brings with it an impact on the whole society and increasing demands on the education system. The education system must respond to changes in the labour market and prepare a young generation of professionals who will be trained in accordance with the needs of production, oriented towards the principles of Industry 4.0. For this reason, an analysis of the state of secondary vocational education has been carried out in several areas that may be key to monitoring current trends in the preparation of students in the context of Industry 4.0. Not only demographic data were analysed, but also data related to the innovation of curriculum documents of individual schools, or the level of implementation of new educational units reflecting the needs of Industry 4.0-based production in this curriculum.
