- Katedra technické a informační výchovy, Pedagogická fakulta UP, Žižkovo nám. 5, 771 40 Olomouc, ČR
The current global trend of implementing the development of computational thinking into the state curriculums brings, among other things, a discussion of possibilities of the assessment of the development of computational thinking within students. With regard to the culminating revision of the FEP in the field of Informatics and ICT according to the Strategy of the educational policy of the Czech Republic until 2020, the development of standardized tools and methods for the development and assessment of computational thinking within primary and secondary school pupils, is one of the most actual pedagogical topics. The paper presents the main possibilities of assessing computational thinking and discusses their applied use in schools in the Czech Republic.
