COMPETENCES AND PROFESSIONAL TEACHER COMPETENCES AS THE BASIC TERMINOLOGICAL CONCEPTS
BASLER Jaromír
TVV 2021, 14(1):4-12 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.002
Scientific literature often uses the term competences. The frequently used concept in the context of education is the derived term professional teacher competences. However, there is a degree of disunity in the use of these concepts. The aim of the present paper is to perform an analysis of professional resources that include these terms, and to clarify the meaning of the terms competences and professional teacher competences in the context of the current educational theory. At first, the paper analyses the term competences and then the derived term professional teacher competences.

TVV 2021, 14(1):21-27 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.003
Modern technologies are frequently used in science education. Simple thermal cameras can be used with an advantage in education of a multidisciplinary topic of the role of vegetation in solar energy distribution and water cycle in the landscape. The plants use the majority of the incoming solar energy for water transpiration from the leaves. By this way, they cool themselves as well as their environment. In cold places the water vapour condensate, the energy is released and warms up the environment. For the measurement of the temperature, changes in the landscape thermal cameras and further digital technologies can be used. Despite the high importance...

TVV 2021, 14(1):28-34 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.004
The basic pillars of primary school teachers in teaching are the content and performance standards of subjects and teaching resources of individual subjects. The availability of textbooks in Slovakia has lagged behind in recent years, and teachers are announcing their lack for pupils. The subject of technology has undergone fundamental content changes since 2015, which require their reflection in new textbooks and workbooks. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the availability of learning resources for the subject of technology with a focus on electronic learning resources. A questionnaire of our own design was used for the research, which was sent...
TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF DISTANCE LEARNING
HUĄOVÁ Zlatica, TOKO© Peter
TVV 2021, 14(1):35-44 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.005
The importance and need for technical education in the Slovak Republic are unquestionable. That is the reason why it is so important to emphasize the need for technical education of young people, and also at time of applying to further studies and education, to appeal on the fact that every pupil and every student has the future in their hands. We must allege that the interest in studying technical fields at secondary vocational schools is lower, pupils often have difficulties managing this type of studies and adapt successfully to the labour market. Technical education is demanding, especially in the implementation of distance learning. In this article...
EFFECTS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION ON THE HUMAN BODY
RUDOLF Ladislav
TVV 2021, 14(1):45-52 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.006
The article aims to acquaint the public with the basic issues of the effects of the electromagnetic field on humans and their potential health risks. Since the beginning of the 20th century, many electrical and electronic devices have been used that have fundamentally changed their lifestyle. In addition, there has been an enormous increase in the use of wireless communication in the last twenty years than ever before - since the introduction of radio broadcasting in 1923 and television broadcasting in 1953, where there were several transmitters with a higher output of 10 to 1000 kW in Czechoslovakia, mostly located outside large cities. We currently...

BRYNDOVÁ Lucie
TVV 2021, 14(1):13-20 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2021.001
The current global trend of implementing the development of computational thinking into the state curriculums brings, among other things, a discussion of possibilities of the assessment of the development of computational thinking within students. With regard to the culminating revision of the FEP in the field of Informatics and ICT according to the Strategy of the educational policy of the Czech Republic until 2020, the development of standardized tools and methods for the development and assessment of computational thinking within primary and secondary school pupils, is one of the most actual pedagogical topics. The paper presents the main...
