Trends in Education

Trends in Education is a peer-review scientific and professional journal that focuses on publishing the results of research investigations, theoretical studies and professional papers, mainly in the field of technology and technology in education, but also in related areas and disciplines. Articles by Czech and foreign authors are published in English, Czech, Slovak, German and Polish. The journal was founded in 2008, is independent and has a periodicity of twice a year. Historically, the journal was established in connection with the Trends in Technical Education conference organized by Department of Technical education and Information Technology, Faculty of Education, Palacký University in Olomouc, since 2012 it has been a completely autonomous journal accepting articles independently of this conference and with an independent review process.

In 2020, the EBSCO Editorial Board in the USA de-nominated the journal Trends in Education for indexing in EBSCO full-text databases.
In 2024, the journal is approved for inclusion in ERIH PLUS.

All articles are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Articles are reviewed by reviewers from departments other than the authors of the articles.
