The use of educational robotics is one of the many ways to teach topics from the educational area "Algorithmic problem solving" at the second stage of primary school. During the pandemic, the teaching in schools was carried out in a distance form and the teaching took place in a limited mode. Therefore, teachers often reduced the original content of teaching and omitted some topics compared to the original plan. Therefore, we dealt with the problem of whether programming was taught in this period and how it was taught. Our goal was to find out the current state of teaching programming using robotic kits at the second stage of primary schools. We wanted to know if the educational robotics was implemented during the online teaching and how it took place.

Keywords: Programming, robotics, robot construction, robot programming, online teaching.
