TVV 2019, 12(2):5-19 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.005
Crafts, traditional manual production, creativity, and originality are traditional and historically contingent concepts closely associated with human activity in the manufacture of practical but also artistic products. People turn to these unique products with a nostalgic vision in order to break out of the current trend of industrial uniformity, which bears the signs of production procedures based on automation, digitalization, use of robots, and other technologically advanced production processes. The life of today’s generation of children is dominated by information and communication technology. Educational strategies emphasize the development...
PHYSICAL MODELLING OF ELEMENTARY PRINCIPLES OF THE ROCKET ENGINE IN TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES
TVARŮ®KA Václav
TVV 2019, 12(2):20-27 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.007
This paper deals with experience with application of the "elementary alcohol rocket" as a topic for education of work with plastics in the context of the reactive rocket engines physical principles. During the technological education, we find important to integrate not only practical realisation of the paper, plastics and other material work but also theoretical principles of physics, calculations including, estimation of energetic loses, effectiveness and other physical quantities. Practical and experimental topic for education enables practical experiments and proving the elementary physical principles validity. This topic was verified in the environment...
PREPARING STUDENTS AND BIOMETRICS EXPERTS
HAMBALÍK Alexander, MARÁK Pavol
TVV 2019, 12(2):28-37 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.010
This contribution provides readers with information about the experience we have gained during an extensive period of development of the special system supporting research and training of students especially in the field of biometrics. This system finds its applications where one needs to employ technologies for parallel task processing using multi-core CPUs, GPUs and fast network connection. It has a unique support for fingerprint recognition, however its hardware and software equipment is designed for multiple purposes so it could be used in different areas of research and education. It adaptively employs all technical and technological possibilities...
THE TEACHER'S ROLE IN PROJECT TEACHING
©MERINGAIOVÁ Anna
TVV 2019, 12(2):38-45 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.012
The article describes the process of preparation and application of the project method in the subject "Analysis of Operation Parameters of Technological Equipment". The subject is focused on determining the technical condition of machines using non-destructive diagnostics methods. Several methods and forms of university education were used in the application of project teaching. This is an analysis of the role of the teacher, as the assigner of tasks and the coordinator of the project team solution process. From the teacher's point of view, the achieved results of the work and the overall course of teaching are evaluated.
DIDACTIC MATERIAL AIDS IN EDUCATION OF INFORMATICS
MALI© Petr
TVV 2019, 12(2):46-52 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.011
The paper brings the theoretical basis and categorization of educational material for the planned research. The theoretical summary of the term didactics aids is followed by further division of material aids. The first chapter deals with didactic material aids in the context of education of informatics. The usage of computers as an intermediary of content was chosen as the main characteristic of education. There is also stated a categorization of educational materials for the education of informatics. They are divided into four groups: electronic aids, printed educational materials, digital learning objects, and other tools. As the key group was chosen...
CURRENT TOPICS AND TENDENCES IN CONTEMPORARY DRAWING AS INSPIRATION IN VISUAL ART EDUCATION
MOUČKA Ondřej, MIKO©KOVÁ Jitka
TVV 2019, 12(2):53-61 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2019.013
From the point of view of art education, drawing is important as one of the basic techniques and also as an integral part of the development of children's art expression. In the past, drawing was used as a comparative tool, according to which the overall technical skill of the artist was judged, it was taught as a technical skill needed to master other disciplines. Contemporary drawing (from 60s to 70s) is not defined by a single definition, it is characterized by the use of traditional elements of drawing such as lines, sketching, thinking process and mapping process and in new ways. At the same time, drawing is a global visual language whose elements...
