THE ESSENCE OF THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT FUNCTION - SELECTED CONCEPTS

The article includes interpretation of the definition of management and its function by leading theoreticians and practitioners of management studies. Identified management as a process through which resources are being converted, at the participation of planning, organizing, motivating and controlling, into the results of a calculation. It pointed the theory of managing as a relatively young science.
