BUDÍNOVÁ Vendula
TVV 2018, 11(1):5-10 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.008
In the 20th century, media such as radio or television have emerged for communicating information. It has now been supplemented by media that are related to information technologies, such as computers, the Internet and touch devices. These media have been gradually integrated into the education process, where they play an important role today. In 2005, a new platform emerged on the internet to share video files. It was a YouTube social network (www.youtube.com). In the amount of videos that are growing on this platform each day, there are also those that contain, in addition to the entertainment component, information and education (e.g....
VERIFICATION TAXONOMY OF TEACHERS IN TERMS OF THEIR APPROACHES TO AND VIEWS ON ICT TOOLS
KLEMENT Milan
TVV 2018, 11(1):11-23 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.007
Is it possible to categorize teachers by their approach to modern technology? Are there groups of teachers who use modern technology uncritically? On the contrary, is there a larger group of teachers and educators who actively oppose this use? These are some of the questions which the submitted paper attempts to find the answer to. Based on the aforementioned assumptions, we proceeded to analyze the methods and approaches to the use of ICT tools by the teachers at primary and secondary schools with using pedagogical research methods. The acquired research data was subjected to statistical analysis using multidimensional statistical methods to verify...
HANDS-ON AND REMOTE LABORATORIES WITH ARDUINO FOR EVERYONE
LUSTIG František
TVV 2018, 11(1):24-29 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.006
The number of remote laboratories around the world seems to be stagnating or rather declining. The development of new real remote remote control laboratories is probably too complex and costly, it requires a permanent service, etc. In the paper we come up with an alternative solution that does not use professional measurement systems, but we will focus on the easily accessible Arduino board. Every beginner and non-programmer can build a remote experiment with Arduino and our freely downloadable software kit "Remduino Lab SDK".
INNOVATION FOR THE SUBJECT PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL OF WORKING TECHNOLOGIES WITH PLASTICS
TVARŮŽKA Václav
TVV 2018, 11(1):30-37 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.003
The paper deals with experience with extruded polystyrene as an alternative material suitable for practical activities of pupils at the primary school. Extruded polystyrene as a material is able to develop fine motor activities of pupils and their conceptual knowledge. Thanks to technological abilities, it is easy to work with it and its physical abilities enable its applications in a wide range of activities. The paper deals with technological possibilities of this material, its contribution for development of technical thinking and also risks that are possible to eliminate. In the paper are stated subjects and models for realizing the education of...
THEORETICAL BASES OF MICROLEARNING WITHIN CONCEPTION OF E‑LEARNING WITH EXAMPLES OF IMPLEMENTATION IN THE AREA OF COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE
POLÁŠEK Radim
TVV 2018, 11(1):38-46 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.002
The paper covers definition of MicroLearning and its place within current development of e-Learning. Even though MicroLearning is considered as a up-to-date trend in e-Learning, its real deployment in praxis is realized mainly through work-based training and verification of real educational results are still not satisfactory. Described is theoretical background, starting points and basic parameters that seems to be unchangeable since its definition. The paper describes in literature mentioned benefits and difficulties that are connected with this concept. Many of them are not being solved by current implementations of MicroLearning. Described is our...
POSSIBILITIES OF THE STEEL SURFACE REMELTING RESULTS EVALUATION
CHMELÍČKOVÁ Hana, ŘIHÁKOVÁ Lenka
TVV 2018, 11(1):47-52 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.004
Laser surface remelting is one of the technologies utilizing laser energy to create a thin surface layer on the unaffected material, which then has a higher resistance (Dahotre & Hamikar, 2008). Although it is application mainly for continuous lasers, this process can be carried out on a pulsed laser where the melted area is created by dense overlapping of individual pulses. Traces 15 mm long were consequently created on steel samples, the variable parameter being the distance of the sample surface from the focal plane of the laser beam with which the power density was changed. Already during the visual observation of the experiment, it was obvious...
CONVERSION OF ENERGY BASED ON PHOTOVOLTAICS WITH INTEGRATED E-LEARNING
JINDROVÁ Terézia
TVV 2018, 11(1):53-62 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.001
We meet energy in all areas of physics, but also in other natural and technical subjects, or in ordinary life. It plays a central role in understanding the behavior of systems which are researching. We find it in various forms, and can be converted from one form to another (useful work). It is obviously one of the most important integral concepts of natural and technical sciences. One of the greatest challenges of didactics of these subjects is correctly understanding the concept energy. Innovative approaches are one of the forms which contribute to the effective teaching. They have motivational and activating character. Integrate e-learning is an...
COMPUTER ANALYSIS OF MECHANISMS
ŠMERINGAIOVÁ Anna
TVV 2018, 11(1):63-71 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.009
The paper presents the evaluation of the preparation, course and results of the subject "Computer Analysis of Mechanisms" in its first "pilot year". Content is focused on kinematic analysis of mechanical systems and its inclusion in curricula is the result of the search for new forms and methods suitable for use in the teaching of technical mechanics. Teaching takes the form of lectures and laboratory exercises. Three different approaches to kinematic analysis of simple mechanical systems, such as analytical solutions, graphical solutions, and computer-aided solutions, are applied to solve all the tasks. The article provides an example of a kinematic...
THE AWARENESS OF STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL FACULTY OF PALACKÝ UNIVERSITY OLOMOUC ABOUT POSSIBILITIES OF LEARNING FORM AS EDUCATIONAL ONLINE COURSES
MRÁZEK Michal, BASLER Jaromír
TVV 2018, 11(1):72-80 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.010
How are students aware of the possibilities of on-line education in full-time studies, specialized in teacher training? To find the answer to this question, we tried to realize the research conducted between the students of the Pedagogical Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc. The concept of the research was established as a pre-research, for the planned experiment named the realization of online courses in the teaching of IT subjects. The aim was to find out if there are differences between students of teacher training disciplines focused on ICT and students of other teacher training disciplines in their awareness of online learning opportunities....

TVV 2018, 11(1):81-89 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.005
The Z-generation was born in the world of mobile technology. The mobility, internet, cloud, is a integral part of education now. The digital strategy in the education in the slovak schools is looking for a number of the digital devices in class, digital content and implementation of technology into the curricula. But the last seventeen years, we do not make the progress from qualified users of the digital technologies to creative users with creative digital literacy, who know and use added value of the digital technologie for personal and social development of an individual. The paper presents the outputs and results of the Incubator of Innovative...
