PROPOSAL FOR THE INITIAL COURSE OF THE QUANTUM MECHANICS FOR INFORMATICS

SITKEY Matúą

TVV 2018, 11(2):57-63 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.016

Quantum mechanics has been traditionally taught copying its historical development. This process for the quantum informatics purposes is not effective. Quantum informatics deals mainly with two state systems, therefore, from the aspect of its needs, it is better to begin with the description of the simplest quantum systems. Such a system, for example, is a particle with the spin of ½, if we are considering just its spin property, while these are described in two dimensional state space which is the basis also for the description in informatics. The key position of the paper is a simple quantum-theoretical description of the systems keeping the...

BEE-BOT AND ALGORITHMIC THINKING AT THE FIRST STAGE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

SIMBARTL Petr

TVV 2018, 11(2):64-67 | DOI: 10.5507/tvv.2018.012

Algorithmic thinking has been on the top of problems to be solved regarding the strategy of digital education by the year 2020. Looking for a solution – an algorithm is not only applied in programming, but in ordinary life as well, while looking for the best possible option. The aim of the research was to find out the factors which influence algorithmic thinking in children. Using the robotic toys, we surveyed how successful are the children in fulfilling the given task.  For empirical measurements there were used two groups of children from one elementary school (1st and 2nd class). The total sample of 31 children was obtained based on a random...

The contribution  focuses on the research in self-regulation of learning of students of pre-school and elementary pedagogy and technology. We will analyse self-regulation styles of students at several universities in Slovakia. For this purpose, we will apply the methodology based on the self-determination theory developed by Edward L. Deci and Richard M. Ryan. In this way, we will get an overview of the character of students´ motivation for these subjects and also valuable information about internal and external factors of self-regulation. Based on the obtained results, we will be able to take measures for the preparation of the students.
